2025 has been off to a great start with projects for us. We were given the opportunity to create a great space for a workout room and custom sauna in Monument Colorado. We were hands on through every step of the build starting with the framing. After the drywall was all hung, we decided with the customer that it would be best to match the texture with the rest of the house. Primer was used to seal the texture, and then painted to match the rest of the house. Flooring was a mess, but turned out fantastic. We used 1/2 in thick rubber mats rolled in 25′ sections. We decided that wood baseboards would be the best option with the possibility of weights rolling into them, but we felt like there was something missing. We added a Trim to the top to give it more depth, and painted it all the same color as the walls. Aspen Glass provided the mirrors and install.
For the sauna, we used a Finlandia unit, with a Harvia Xenio Wifi Remote so the unit can be started and stopped remotely. Everything in that sauna can be controlled remotely including power to the Bluetooth controller for the speakers. Everything about this build was custom and made from scratch. The door is made from glass and Alder, while the rest of the sauna was made using cedar.
